StatsFanatics.com is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, otherwise known as COPPA. This Children's Privacy Policy is designed to help both children and parents understand how a child's personal information may be used by StatsFanatics.com. This policy may be modified from time to time to address parental and user concerns or to reflect policy changes.

About the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
COPPA includes new rules, set by the Federal Trade Commission that went into effect April 21, 2000. These rules require Web site operators to post comprehensive privacy policies, notify parents about their information practices, and obtain parental consent before collecting any personal information from children 12 years of age or younger or allowing children 12 years of age or younger to publicly post personal information such as on web pages, bulletin boards or chat rooms without parental consent.

Facebook
StatsFanatics.com gives teams and leagues the option to integrate their site with Facebook comments. However, children under age 13 are not allowed to use Facebook. We strongly suggest that you turn comments off completely for your team or league site through the Stats Fanatics admin settings if you are concerned about underage users posting on your site. Any Facebook comments found on StatsFanaitcs.com by children under age 13 will be reported to Facebook.

What information is collected, and by whom:
At the present time, personal information about players is collected ONLY by league and team managers, who enter such information into the StatsFanatics.com database as part of their league management activities. Therefore, personal information such as a player's home address, telephone number, and e-mail address would be entered by an individual defined herein as a child only if the league or team manager is 12 years of age or younger. Display of such information is optional, and the ability to register a league or set up a team using StatsFanatics.com is not contingent upon the display of such information to either league or team members or casual viewers of the site.

We may also gather additional system information, such as time of day, type of Web browser being used, the operating system/platform, your IP address, and the Web site from which you link to StatsFanatics.com.

StatsFanatics.com is located in Los Angeles, CA. You can e-mail StatsFanatics.com regarding our information practices at help@statsfanatics.com.

StatsFanatics.com is an online resource for sports league management and dissemination of information about the leagues and teams that participate. At this time, we do not collect personal information about you or your child except from league directors and team managers, who are presumably known to you. League directors and team managers may post league, team, or game highlight photographs that may feature your child. If you do not want photographs featuring your child's image posted, you should discuss this with your league director or team manager. The parts of our site that involve viewing league or team information or results are accessible to the general public. Team rosters show player names and league city only, unless display of other information is designated as approved by the league or team manager administering that roster.

Some portions of the StatsFanatics.com Web site may include the content of third parties (for example, advertising banners) or may link to third party Web sites. Content included on the StatsFanatics.com Web site or third party Web sites that are linked from the StatsFanatics.com Web site may collect information about you or your child.
